Major Filipino carrier Cebu Pacific partnered with humanitarian aid organization Waves For Water to deliver water filters to communities impacted by Typhoon Odette in December 2021, including Siargao, the country’s hardest-hit island. The filters transform water possibly contaminated with bacteria and protozoa into drinkable water and are equipped with technology that lowers logistics costs, adding to their sustainability.
